Instructions to set up and use a SumUp Air card reader to work with your phone

Download the application (SumUp NOT SumUp Pay) from the app store for your phone
Set up the app on the phone. Allow Bluetooth and Location Services. Your email address and password will come from the office.
Set up the card reader link - follow the simple instructions. If you log out you may need to re-input your email and password so stay logged on if you are likely to take several payments in a day.
You can now take payments. Open the app, click on SumUp Air (which will show inactive) and press Connect (you may need to do this a second time using 'try again'). This will show a card reader status summary. Press ‘Checkout’ at the bottom of the screen to take a payment. Set the VAT to 0%, otherwise you will need to input an ex VAT amount. The office will take care of the VAT details. The customer just gets to see the total charge. Input the job number where it says 'description'.
Important: when you take a SumUp payment you must record it as such via the 50plus online Service Provider menu section 1 ‘Take money and report a PAYG payment’. It is built into the 'customer payment method' menu. If you do not do this the monies due to you will not be allocated.

Instructions to share your Google calendar with 50plus

This is easier from a computer or tablet. It cannot be done from the Google Calendar app for mobiles. Contact IT support at the 50plus office or ask for help if you don't have a computer or tablet.

Log into Google and go to the calendar you wish to share with 50plus (or create one)
Go to the settings menu (usually the cog wheel)
Click on the calendar you are sharing under 'Settings for my calendar'
Under access permissions select 'Make available to public'
Under share with specific people ADD '50plusuk@gmail.com'.
Under share with specific people SELECT dropdown 'Make changes to events'.
Let 50plus know you have done it! If there are any issues, we may ask you to:
