Example services and earnings

50plus Service Providers provide a broad range of services. The majority of our Services Providers fall into the following categories (rates are as of December 2024 and for south east England and are what you get paid):

• Gas services - circa £75 plus per hour
• Heating services circa £55 per hour
• Plumbing services circa £45 per hour
• Electrical services circa £45 per hour
• Handy services circa £35 per hour
• Brickwork, patio and fencing services circa £30 per hour
• Gardening and similar services circa £28 per hour

A number of services such as decorating and larger multi-skill jobs such as bathroom refurbishment typically need estimating. 50plus provides tools, assistance and guidance with estimating works.
